We are excited to announce the official launch of Bunker Armour Construction, now available to provide quotes for bunker renovation and construction projects across Southern Africa.
With all of the greenside bunkers at both the Montagu & Outeniqua courses, as well as the fairway bunkers on the back nine of of the Outeniqua course at Fancourt having been renovated and lined with Bunker Armour® over the past 3 seasons, our content client continues to employ Bunker Armour® as their bunker solution of choice.
With that, the front-nine fairway bunkers on the Outeniqua Course are also currently enjoying some structural changes and Bunker Armour® has once again been selected to renovate and enhance the beauty of the bunkers of the magnificent Gary Player design masterpiece.
This brings about our 4th concurrent contract with Fancourt emphasizing the unmatched performance and success of the Bunker Armour® product.
Bunker Armour’s turnkey bunker construction team has been hard at work and the project will be completed by the end of August.
An exciting new addition to the course offerings at Fancourt is the all-new Links Experience which will open soon.
Once again, Bunker Armour® has been chosen as the bunker liner with our new Drainbinder bunker base product being installed as the bunker base solution.
Exciting times and we are very proud to introduce this new product to the industry.
Further to all of our other activity at Fancourt, Fancourt also requested that we install our new Bunker Barrier solution in the primary practice bunker for future consideration.
Golfers and members alike can now enjoy and experience perfect bunker performance to hone their skills and practice bunker play at its best.

Bunker Armour provide the necessary product installation training, thereafter the club can manage and structure the Bunker Barrier installation at their own pace and according to their own budgetary requirement.
We visited Gerrards Cross Golf Club in Buckinghamshire to share our amazing Bunker Barrier with them. 8 of Gerrards Cross turf team participated in the Bunker Barrier installation training and are now armed with the skills to install the product themselves going forward.
2 training bunkers were completed in a few days, and the bunkers will be ready for play when the new green at the 1st hole is opened.
Along with the resident turf team, Bunker Armour® was installed in the newly renovated bunker at the par-3 2nd hole. The Bunker Armour® was installed with revetting framing its beauty on the steep bunker margins.
Opened for play immediately after installation, the feedback from both members and golfers has been overwhelmingly positive and we look forward to installing Bunker Armour® throughout this magnificent parkland course.
