Andrew de Jongh

– Managing Director

Having practised as a lawyer for over 20 years, Andrew became increasingly involved in the Bunker Armour business and is now our managing director.

His experience in commercial and contract law, along with over 20 years experience as a golfer, make him ideally suited for the role.

Andrew is based in Ireland, our international head office, and is actively involved in several international projects as Bunker Armour expands globally.

Michael Scholz

– Marketing & Sales

A long-time professional golfer with many years of experience in the golf industry as well as in the corporate environment. After a decade of playing competitive golf in Europe, Asia and South Africa, Michael turned his attention to “business” in the golf industry.

Ever inventive, Michael has developed and patented and number of products and services including “Sprinkle Ads” (advertising on golf sprinkler systems – distance displayed) , an IT based platform for data capture and now Bunker Armour™.

Michael is an active member of the PGA of South Africa, a rare competitor on a few Sunshine Tour events, hosted a television slot called “Golf 101 with Dave and Mike” and has performed over a thousand golf trick shot shows for audiences at golf events internationally.

With successful testing since 2020 in New South Wales, we have appointed an agency to offer the Bunker Armour® and Bunker Barrier products to the market down under.

As of August 2024, the Bunker Armour® and Bunker Barrier will be available to the US golfing market.
