A standard part of our Bunker Armour® service offering when measuring a golf course for an installation is drone mapping.

With that, we provide the golf club with a comprehensive drone survey which includes valuable data and information about the golf course in entirety, not only about the bunkers.

The surveys can even include thermal mapping which indicates the presence of “hotspots” (dry areas) and wet areas which are valuable information for course superintendents and turf managers and can pinpoint irrigation problems, water leaks and areas of turf that fall out of the irrigation coverage.
